Cleveland at Seattle

Seattle made the AL Division Series in 2022, but was swept by Houston as the Mariners blew two leads and lost the other in 18 innings. The Mariners will look to get over the hump this season and they have a valuable addition with Teoscar Hernandez coming over from Toronto. Luis Castillo will start tonight and he was an important piece of the puzzle after being acquired from Cincinnati and he allowed three runs in 14 1/3 innings against the Astros in the playoffs. Castillo had a 2.99 ERA on the season with a 1.08 WHIP. Cleveland also wants to make the next step after winning the AL Central last year. Shane Bieber was 13-8 with a 2.88 ERA and he'll start this game. The Guardians have lost six of the past seven meetings at Seattle and the past four overall.
