Cleveland at Seattle

Both the Cleveland Guardians and the Seattle Mariners have playoff aspirations this season. The Mariners have not seen their bats get going yet, and through six games they are producing just 17 total runs or barely over three per contest. The Guardians have it going all around as they have outscored their six opponents to date by a combined score of 38-18. That provides a significant margin for them here. Seattle will hand the ball off to George Kirby. There are questions about the league catching up to him as he opened his big league career with an 11-4 mark through 15 decisions, but has since been just 18-16.
