Cleveland at Las Vegas

Despite scoring 14 runs yesterday, Cleveland's offense cannot be trusted. The Guardians are batting a well below average .235 and rank in the bottom 10 in runs scored. Superstar third baseman Jose Ramirez is hitting only .214. Athletics veteran starter Aaron Civale has been holding up with a 2-1 record, 3.23 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. Yet the Guardians are favored because they will be starting Parker Messick, who's off to a great start with a 3-0 mark, 1.73 ERA and 0.88 WHIP. However, this will be Messick's first start at Sutter Health Park, a minor league band box that is the A's temporary home and the best hitting park in the American League. The A's have a number of underrated hitters, including Nick Kurtz, Brent Rooker, Shea Langeliers, who is up to 10 homers this season, and Carlos Cortes, who has a 1.092 OPS. Take the A's.
