Cleveland at Chicago

The Cleveland Guardians have played themselves back into the playoff race as they are 20-7 in their last 27 games. They are currently just five games behind the Tigers in the loss column in the AL Central. They beat the White Sox last night 9-5, and are looking for the sweep by winning the next two. The White Sox set a record for futility in the previous season with the most losses ever by a team. They have made some progress, but they still have a long way to go at 42-74 on the season. Cleveland has beaten up on bad teams as the Guardians are 27-12 when facing a team that has been outscored by 0.5 or more runs on the season. The White Sox are 22-40 when facing a team with a winning record. I like Cleveland in this one.
