San Francisco is off to an 8-2 start although its seven-game win streak was snapped in a 2-0 loss to the Reds on Monday. The Giants will look to start a new streak with Landen Roupp, who allowed three runs on four hits in four innings in a 6-3 win over Houston on Wednesday. Roupp appeared in 23 games, four as a starter, in 2024 and had a 3.58 ERA while averaging 8.4 strikeouts per nine innings. The Giants bullpen already has five saves with a 2.13 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP in 2025. The Giants have won six of the past nine meetings with Cincinnati, which has lost five of seven. The Reds have failed to score more than two runs in six of those seven games, incredibly being shutout 1-0 three straight games.
