Cincinnati at Chicago

It has been a long time since there has been any excitement at Wrigley Field. Unfortunately, there will be none this season as the Cubs will once again miss out on the postseason. The one bright note on a team that traded their top two pitchers at the trade deadline is that they have not quit. The road has been a disaster at 30-48, but Chicago has done very well at home now at .500 for the season. A season of hope has faded for Cincinnati, who couldn't win when they needed to and now they take to the road vs. a team that isn't going to have them bringing much energy. The Reds' road woes have left them at 7-25 in their last 32, and if you need an answer why there will be no postseason for them there it is. Arrietta has become quite a stopper as the Cubs are 13-4 in his last 17 when following a team loss. Play on the Cubs.
