Chicago at Minnesota

At 30-39 the Chicago White Sox have already sparked trade talks, and potential salary dumps. One key figure in those rumors surround Jeff Samardzija.  Samardzija was brought in to give the Sox a complimentary #2 starter behind Chris Sale, but at 4-4 with a 4.67 ERA, that hasn't worked out very well. Samardzija has not won any of his last five starts. Mike Pelfrey has delivered a successful season so far for the Twins at 5-3 with a 2.97 ERA. Pelfrey has done exceedingly well at home where the Twins own a 6-0 record in his last six starts here. Minnesota has taken care of business vs. bad teams, and are now 24-8 in their last 32 against a losing club.
