The Chicago White Sox have opened up a three-game lead on the Tigers in the AL Central with 16 to play, and have now won four straight games. Gavin Floyd started the season poorly with the Sox, going 5-8 in his first 13 starts, but have been 8-4 over his last 12 as he has been finishing strong, and shutout this Royals team for 7.2 innings in his only appearance against them. It has been a dreadful season for Luke Hochevar at 8-13 with a 5.46 ERA. He has been even worse at home where he is 2-6 with a 5.94 ERA. The Whitw Sox have been a perfect 5-0 in Floyd's last five starts vs. a losing team, while the Royals have struggled to an 8-20 mark when Hochevar opens a series. Play on the White Sox.
