White Sox starter Davis Martin has won each of his first two starts with six strikeouts in each outing and no runs allowed in his last game against the Blue Jays. He has a 2.45 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 11 innings pitched this season. Martin has a 2.67 ERA in five career starts against the Royals. Kansas City starter Kris Bubic is on the comeback trail after his promising 2025 season ended in late July due to a left rotator cuff strain. Bubic has a 4.09 ERA in two starts this season.
