Chicago at Houston

It is hard to ignore what the Houston Astros have done over the last five years (disregarding the shortened Covid season). Houston has averaged over 104 regular season wins since the start of the 2017 season. The Astros are also 232-122 at home over the same period. Framber Valdez is the ace on the mound as he has pitched his team to a 56-32 career record, and just keeps getting better, as his team is 20-6 in his last 26 starts. Chicago starts Dylan Cease who is a good pitcher but doesn't have the offensive support that Houston gives Valdez. Cease finished just 3-7 in his last 10 starts a year ago. Valdez is 4-1 for his career vs the White Sox, and in the five games, the Sox have never put up more than four runs. I like Houston in this one.
