Chicago at Detroit

Jordan Zimmermann has had only one bad start the entire season and will make his first appearance since May 22 due to a mild groin strain. Detroit has won seven of his nine outings and he has allowed more than three runs just once. The right-hander is 4-1 at home with a 3.41 ERA and the White Sox are 26th in the major leagues with a .684 OPS against righties. Chicago has won two straight after losing seven in a row and falling out of first place. The White Sox have lost five of Carlos Rodon's last six starts as he generally is good for six innings while throwing more than 100 pitches. Over his last three road games, Rodon has given up 13 runs (11 earned) and 26 hits in 18 2/3 innings. Detroit has won seven of its last 10 home games and it's still a bargain price with Zimmermann. Take the Tigers.
