Chicago at St. Louis

St. Louis trails the Cubs in the NL Central by just 3.5 games. The Cardinals are feeling pretty good about themselves as they have won six of their last seven by an average score of more than 2.0 runs a game. They open a series with the Chicago Cubs tonight, and the Cubs are mired in a 1-4 slump. Chicago's pitching has been awful as they have yielded 46 runs in the five games, or 9.2 runs per contest. Not even the elite Cubs offense has been able to produce enough runs to win. These teams are trending opposite, and I'll take the high road and make the play on St. Louis.
