LOSS

The Chicago Cubs seek redemption from their one-run loss to the Cardinals last night in St. Louis. They send Sean Marshall to the hill. Marshall has a good track record against the Cards, as he has a winning record and a career 3.67 ERA against them - almost a full run better than his overall career numbers. The Cards counter with Mitchell Boggs who will take P.J. Walters spot in the rotation. Boggs has been relegated to cleanup duty for the Cards, so whatever they get out of him here isn’t just eating up innings - they need at the moment. This puts the value on the Cubs facing a heretofore mop-up man, with a pitcher that has had success against the Cards. I'll go Cubbies here at virtually even money.
