Chicago at Pittsburgh

There is great value with Pittsburgh in this matchup as Ivan Nova, arguably the best starter for the Pirates this season, is a slight underdog against the Cubs, who are 2-10 their last 12 road games and 13-18 on the road this season. Nova has allowed more than three runs just once his last seven starts and he comes off a win over the Marlins when he did not give up a run on only one hit in six innings. Nova is 4-2 with a 2.29 ERA at home and the Pirates have won four of his last six starts. Jake Arrieta gave up four runs on five hits in 4 1/3 innings against the Rockies on Sunday as he's been bothered by a cut on his right thumb. Arrieta is 3-4 with a 5.20 ERA on the road and in one appearance against Pittsburgh he allowed three runs on five hits in 5 2/3 innings. The Cubs won 9-5 last night, but they are 3-7 after scoring at least five runs. Take the Pirates.
