Chicago at Pittsburgh

Chicago already has beaten the Pirates three of four games in the early going and the Cubs send Zach Davies to the mound tonight and he allowed two runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings versus Pittsburgh on Sunday. The right-hander comes over from the Padres where he allowed 21 earned runs in 69 1/3 innings in 2020 for a 2.73 ERA. Pittsburgh hitters are batting just .176 against Davies in his career. Mitch Keller lasted three innings in his first start allowing three runs in three innings against the Cubs on Sunday. Javier Baez hit a go-ahead two-run homer for Chicago and Kris Bryant also went deep in Chicago's 4-2 win on Thursday.  Look for more of the same from the Chicago offense on Saturday. Play the Cubs.
