Chicago at Atlanta

The Cubs and Braves hook up for Game 2 of their three-game set following a 5-2 Braves win on Tuesday. Chicago was rolling on its recent homestand and beat up Texas 7-1 in their first stop of this tour, but the Cubs have since lost three in a row, scoring a total of just two runs. They’ll look to get the offense going today against Braves rookie righty JR Ritchie, who’s making his fourth career start. The Cubs are 10-1 since last year after scoring two runs or less in back-to-back games, averaging 6.5 RPG. They’re 5-1 after three-straight losses, and all five wins were on the road, including once in April this year when they pounded the Padres 8-3.
