Boston at Texas

The Rangers have had problems scoring runs of late, with just 21 scored in their last seven, or 3 per contest. They have encountered their biggest problems offensively vs. left-hand pitching where they are now 7-1 to the UNDER over their last eight when facing one. Boston has exploded for double-digit runs the last two nights against Texas, but overall in their last 11 games they have failed to reach the total in eight of them. The Rangers are also closing out series on a low note, with each of their last six game fours having played to the UNDER. Home plate umpire Dantley has called 10 of the last 12 Rangers games to the UNDER as well. I'll back an inflated total to stay UNDER in this one.
