Boston at Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay has been steamrolling everyone in front of it, including a series sweep of the Athletics I had cashing at two units as recently as three days ago, and the price tonight reflects just how good this Rays team has been. But Boston isn't the Athletics. The Red Sox are well clear of the field for a wild card spot and still carry one of the better lineups in the league even with Triston Casas and Masataka Yoshida out, and they're catching a Tampa Bay starter in Griffin Jax who's been capped at four or five innings a night most of the year, which means this bullpen has to cover the back half of the game after already emptying the tank against Vegas this week. Boston's own rotation has taken real hits, so I'm not pretending Patrick Sandoval matches up favorably arm for arm, but a price this generous on a playoff-bound team facing a taxed bullpen is the kind of number I want on the board. Boston is the play at this price this afternoon.
