Boston at Tampa Bay

The Boston Red Sox need to win games, and the wins have not come easily. They now have a 1.5-game lead over the surging Guardians for the final wild-card spot in the AL. Boston is not playing well and has won just 6 of their last 14 games. The pitching has not been getting it done, as seven of their last eight opponents have scored four or more runs. Tampa Bay came into this series off taking 2 out of 3 from Toronto, and Boston is going with Kyle Harrison, who is making his first start since June 10th. Tampa Bay will go with Adrian Houser. Houser has been a pleasant addition to the Rays' rotation as he is 8-4 with a 3.11 ERA. Houser has held 12 of the last 16 opponents to 3 or fewer runs. I like Tampa Bay.
