The pitching has been outstanding as Ray's staff has allowed 4 or fewer runs in 20 of the 23 games, and has out-scored opponents 5.3-2.57. The offense has been superb as well. The Ray's are 9-2 in their last 11 games vs Boston this season, including 8 straight wins at home. The Sox have played themselves out of contention, and have not been showing up lately.
