Boston at Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay won its third straight, 4-1 over the Red Sox Wednesday on another good pitching performance by Shane McClanahan. Tonight the Rays have Drew Rasmussen on the mound and he has been sensational at home this season. The right-hander is 3-0 with a 1.65 ERA and .183 opponent batting average at Tropicana Field in 2022 allowing only six runs in 32 2/3 innings. Rasmussen made five appearances against Boston last year and gave up just four runs in 15 2/3 innings. The Red Sox have lost the first three games of this series and seven of their past nine overall. Tampa Bay has climbed back into second place in the AL East and is 28-17 at home this season. Play the Rays.
