The Boston Red Sox have started slow after claiming the World Series Championship a year ago. They will go with Clay Buchholz tonight against heated rival New York, but questions arise regarding his health. Buchholz has gotten ripped hard in the early going, and his fastball has topped out at 90 MPH, well below what he was in previous seasons. The lower velocity has kept him from avoiding mistakes with power, but the margin for error has slipped. The Yankees are going to get rewarded for trading for Michael Pineda. Pineda dominated in his first start, and after two years on the shelf, he looks like the top-of-the-rotation pitcher he was in his rookie season in Seattle. The Yanks are 36-17 in their last 53 at home against a losing team, and have a huge edge on the mound tonight. Back the home team.
