Boston at Kansas City

The Boston Red Sox are on their way from going from first to worst in the AL East. It has been a trying season to say the least, after winning it all a year ago. While Lester and Lackey have been dealt, that leaves the top of the rotation to Clay Buchholz. Buchholz had a huge season in 2013, but suffered through a good part of this season. He has gotten himself back on track and has allowed 3 runs or fewer in five of his last six starts, and just 5 total runs in his last three - all Boston wins. Kansas City is going with the weak link in their rotation in Liam Hendriks who has pitched to a soft ERA of 4.81 and this is the spot where the Royals appear to be the most vulnerable. Buchholz is pitching like the top-of-the-rotation pitcher he was a year ago, and has dominated the Royals with the Red Sox 5-0 against them in his last five starts. Take the road dog Boston.
