Boston at Houston

Boston scored 26 runs in beating Tampa Bay four games to one, but Houston put up 31 runs while defeating the White Sox in four games. Chris Sale is scheduled to start Game 1 for the Red Sox and he comes off two rough outings, including allowing four hits, three walks and two runs in 2 1/3 innings against Washington in his final outing of the regular season. In Game 2 against the Rays, Sale gave up five earned runs, including a grand slam to Jordan Luplow and didn't last past the first inning. He was lucky that Boston came back to win the game 14-6. Framber Valdez will go for the Astros and he gave up four runs in 4 1/3 innings in Game 2 against Chicago, but he finished the season 11-6 with a 3.14 ERA and in two starts against Boston he allowed only two runs in 14 1/3 innings. The Red Sox are 5-13 their past 18 games as road underdogs, 6-13 their past 19 road games versus left-handed starters. Take the Astros as a Max Play for my ALCS Game of the Year.
