Baltimore at Chicago

Mark Buerhle is just 1-2 with a 5.96 ERA thus far having allowed 21 hits in his last 14 innings. The Sox are without Jermaine Dye in this one who is out with a groin strain. He's been a big part of Chicago's offense vs. the Orioles (25 RBI and 10 HR in last 22 games vs. Baltimore). Baltimore is batting nearly as good on the road (.243) as Chicago is at home (.245). Both teams face southpaws today and Baltimore is batting .283 vs. lefites while Chicago is batting just .241. Brian Burres has been very good thus far posting a 3.63 REA and 2-1 record. The Orioles are 13-9 overall and Buerle hasn't yet proved he's got his stuff going. We like the value on the dog here.
