Atlanta at Washington

The Atlanta Braves will take on the Washington Nationals in a doubleheader, and Game 2 will see Max Scherzer take the mound for the Nationals. Scherzer has to be considered the odds-on favorite to win the Cy Young Award in the NL. The Nats own a 17-6 mark when he takes the mound, and have had an average winning margin of nearly three runs per contest in his 23 starts on the season, and Washington has won each of his last five starts. Those numbers expand to 3.25 runs per game winning margin at home. The Nats have also won Scherzer's last two starts against the Braves this season where the Braves totaled just two runs. There is a huge edge on the hill, so play Washington in Game 2 of the doubleheader.
