The New York Mets have fallen five games out in the NL East. They were mired in a seven-game losing streak — their longest of the season — but exploded for 13 runs last night in a series-opening win against these Braves. Atlanta hasn't done well as a road dog this season, going 6-20, and the Braves are only 21-38 (.356) away from home with any line, which is the fourth-worst record in baseball. New York has a 39-21 home record and should be refreshed after snapping out of that slump. I like the Mets in this one.
