It would have been unthinkable that Atlanta would open the season 0-4, but that's where the Braves stand now. They have too much talent to continue on this path, and the due factor is heavily in their favor as they head to Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles swept the Tigers, who easily could have won the series' first two games, but the lack of clutch hitting and lapses in their relief pitching were too costly. Atlanta went UNDER in its past two games mostly because it didn't score a run, but the Braves hope to have better luck against Tyler Glasnow, who comes off a 9-6 season with a 3.49 ERA. Grant Holmes made seven starts for Atlanta in 2024 and went 2-1 with a 1.19 WHIP. He pitched an inning in relief on Thursday, allowed no hits, and struck out two.
