The Braves are vastly superior to the Rockies. We know that. However, the volatility of Coors Field makes Colorado a good value at this underdog price. The Rockies are 14-18, but have a winning 7-6 record at home. Colorado has the fifth-highest batting average in the majors. The Rockies should not be taken this lightly when playing at unpredictable Coors Field. Atlanta leads the majors in runs scored, but is averaging just three runs a game in their past two games. Colorado has scored 17 runs in its last two games. Brave starter Grant Holmes has been solid with a 3.62 ERA and 1.206 WHIP. Holmes, though, did not fare well in his one start at Coors Field. He allowed five runs on six hits in five innings there on Aug. 9, 2024. The Rockies are pitching veteran Jose Quintana. Take the Rockies.
