Atlanta at Colorado

Atlanta won its second in a row as it tries to get back to its winning ways of the second half of last season when the Braves went on to win the World Series. They clobbered the Rockies on Thursday as Travis D'Arnaud went 3-for-5, including a grand slam and another homer for Atlanta, which banged out 18 hits. Now the Braves have Max Fried going tonight, and he is 5-2 with a 3.10 ERA as his team has won his last two starts when he allowed just three runs on 11 hits in 12 innings. Also, Fried is 2-0 with a .188 opponent batting average on the road, and Colorado batters are just four-for-26 against him. Chad Kuhl has allowed nine runs on 15 hits in 16 1/3 innings at home this season. The Rockies continue to have the worst bullpen in the Majors with a 5.28 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP. The Braves are 20-8 on the road versus teams with losing records and 27-11 their past 38 games as road favorites. Colorado has also lost 17 of its last 24 games. Play the Braves.
