Arizona at Texas

Tuesday has not been a good day of the week for Arizona which has lost its last nine Tuesday contests and it will get no better tonight against Lance Lynn and the Rangers. The right-hander has pitched much better than expected this season with a 12-4 record and he has 134 strikeouts in 122 innings. Texas has won his last five starts and Lynn has allowed only two runs his last three starts covering 22 innings. Also, Lynn has yet to lose a decision at home in 10 appearances and he gave up a run on four hits in six innings in one start against the Diamondbacks. Alex Young will make only his third start for Arizona and the Diamondbacks have lost five of their last six road games. Texas has won eight of its last 11 home games versus left-handed starters.
