Arizona at San Francisco

It has been a lost season for the Arizona Diamondbacks. They started slow and really never got anything going. Their longest winning streak of the season has been three games, and right now they appear to be a bad team that has also packed it in for the season. They currently are on a five game skid, and the offense has left the building. They have mustered just 6 runs in their last five games while the pitching has allowed 5 or more in each of the last four, which is not exactly a winning formula. They have had little recent success in the role of a road dog where they are 3-13 in their last 16. When the pitching goes south as we have seen of late, they are 0-8 in their last eight after allowing 5 runs in their previous game. The Giants are riding the wave at home where they are now 10-1 in their last 11, including 8-0 against a right-handed starter. Take San Francisco in this one.
