Sometimes looking at the opposing pitcher, in this case Dan Haren for the D-Backs, can make you a bit uncomfortable offering against him. Not the case here at all as the D-Backs are pathetic against left-hand pitching. Arizona is a weak offensive team to begin with at 4.4 runs a game, but put them against a lefthander and that drops significantly to 3.8 runs a game. The result has been very noticeable on the road as Arizona has put together a very poor 4-13 mark on the road against lefthanders. It has not helped them having Dan Haren on the mound as he has made three road starts facing a lefthander, and the Diamondbacks have dropped all three of them. Wade LeBlanc is gaining confidence and is 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA in his last three starts. I'll take the live dog here and go with San Diego.
