Arizona at Minnesota

This is a good pitching matchup, although Ryne Nelson has been sharper lately than his counterpart, Joe Ryan. Nelson is 7-3 with a 1.05 WHIP this season. He has allowed 12 runs in his past five starts while giving Arizona at least six innings in all of them. Nelson gave up one run on three hits in six innings against Boston on Sunday. Ryan comes off a rough outing against Kansas City, but he threw seven shutout innings in a 7-2 Twins win over San Diego in his previous start. Ryan is 13-8 with a 1.01 WHIP in 2025.
