Dan Haren faded down the stretch last season as he worked just too many innings. When he was fresh at the beginning of the season, he maintained an ERA of less than two through June. His two-run, three-hit, seven-inning debut against the Cubs shows he is fresh and throwing like early last season. Bronson Arroyo did not have a good season last year. The Reds won just 12 of his 34 starts. The Diamondbacks are the better team with the better pitcher on the hill, and the better pen to follow, so at virtually even money we will ride them on the road.
