Arizona has won four in a row and actually playing better than the Cubs, who just finished a 3-4 road trip and losing two straight to the Cardinals. The Diamondbacks have scored 27 runs their past four games, including 6-4 over the Pirates on Wednesday befroe getting a day off. Chicago has lost Zach Davies' last four starts although it was the bullpen that was the culprit most of the time. Davies has a 4.27 ERA and .254 opponent batting average in 10 home starts this season. The right-hander faced the Diamondbacks once and gave up two runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings. Zac Gallen has pitched better than his record indicates and he allowed just a run on three hits in 5 2/3 innings against the Cubs on Saturday. Chicago has lost 23 of its past 32 games.
