He was sharp in his first start this season, holding the Giants to one hit in 5 1/3 innings with eight strikeouts. Seattle ranked 27th in home batting average last season. Kirby is one of the best control pitchers in baseball when healthy, which he is now. Kirby's WHIPs for the past three seasons are 1.19, 1.07, and 1.04. Kirby beat the Guardians, 5-1, in his first start this season. He held Cleveland to one run on two hits with six strikeouts in six innings. Take the UNDER.
