It is understandable, though, being so close to a World Series championship, plus they were facing the Dodgers' best pitcher, Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Look for the Blue Jays to be more patient at the plate in Game 7, and Shohei Ohtani will start, but likely pitch just a few innings for Los Angeles before it goes to the bullpen. Max Scherzer has plenty of experience in these situations, including starting Game 7 of the 2019 series when his Washington Nationals won 6-2. Ohtani allowed four runs on six hits in six innings in Game 3. The OVER is 5-0 in Scherzer's past five starts, and the OVER is 6-1 in his seven starts following a loss in Toronto's previous game. Kevin Gausman gets the start for Toronto, and he's been solid with a 2.55 ERA in the playoffs. Toronto was dominant at home with a 54-27 record. The Blue Jays had the second-highest home batting average and were fourth in slugging percentage when playing at home. LA's bullpen wasn't a strength during the regular season, and it has been bad during the postseason with a 4.56 ERA.
