New York and Aaron Boone blew Game 1 by taking out Gerrit Cole after six innings, and Derek Jeter nailed it when he said it would have an effect on the rest of the series. The Yankees had to waste five more pitchers in that game and they haven't recovered since. The Yankee hitters have been stymied and they appear totally confused at the plate after being very disciplined all season. Luis Gil gives up a lot of walks and his past four starts have gone OVER. This is only his second start this postseason and he allowed two runs in four innings against Cleveland in the ALCS. Gil gave up 10 runs in 11 innings his last two regular-season starts. It doesn't much matter who the Dodgers start as it will likely be a bullpen game, and the Yankees have had trouble with all of them. Los Angeles is 12-6 OVER its past 18 games. Take the Dodgers and the OVER.
