New York lost a wild game last night, 7-6 in 10 innings, and the winning run scored on a balk by Josh Walker. The Mets will look to bounce back with Kodai Senga starting, and he now is their best pitcher after they traded away Maz Scherzer and Justin Verlander. Senga is 7-5 with a 3.17 ERA and 1.24 WHIP and he has allowed only seven earned runs his past five appearances in 28 1/3 innings pitched, including a 2-1 win over Washington on Thursday when he gave up just a run on two hits in six innings. Cole Ragans goes for Kansas City and he made 17 relief appearances for Texas before being traded to the Royals. He'll make just his second start with his new team.
