San Diego needs to salvage the final game of this series and it has the correct pitcher to achieve it in Michael Wacha, who has allowed only four runs his past four starts in 24 innings pitched, including a 4-0 victory over Kansas City on Monday when gave up no runs on one hit in seven innings.
