(# 9) YANKEES BLAST - Makes her second start off a June layoff for trainer Bill Ford. Mare just missed at this condition and distance last out getting beat by a neck. Drops a bit for this, and lightly raced miss can take this with a repeat of last.

(# 8) Pappy's Girl - Lost to the top pick by four lengths last out, but that was only her second race off a freshening for new trainer Mike Maurer. She's kept better company than most entered.

(# 2) Denna's Dream - Comes out of the same race as the top two. Showed some speed that day, she needs to hang on better to contend. Lightly raced and capable if she improves.

(# 3) Ted's Dream - Had problems at the start in latest, but she ran on well to finish a good second. Race was at this tag, and she has been facing better stock since late last year.
