Top pick: #8 (TWILIGHTINPRIDDIS) (2-1) - Filly is in the barn of leading trainer Bob Diodoro and he has her working fast locally for her first since late June at Northlands Park. Speed/stalker has won here in the past, has beaten tougher, and she's dropping to a new low. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Blaise of Light) (5-2) - Lightly-raced Cal bred has been competitive in five of her six starts and stalker enters off an easy win at Stockton on Sept. 28 as she cleared the 2l condition. Win came off a seven week freshening and this 4-year-pld won her debut here in late April.
3rd pick: #7 (Cara Has It) (5-1) - Filly is from the same barn as "Blaise of Light" (Dan Morgan) and the pair race uncoupled. She had a very wide trip when finishing fourth here at this level Oct. 25. It was her first off a claim and 3-year-old has a much better post for this attempt.
4th pick: #6 (Queen On the Green) (8-1) - Lightly-raced filly comes off a second place finish here when she was a length better than "Cara." However, that filly had a legitimate excuse that day (wide trip) while this runner did not.
