Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (LITTLE BRO GARRETT) (2-1) - Lightly-raced and speedy, Calif. bred tired while wide after chasing a quick pace here when facing tougher Feb 1. It was his first since last summer when he won three races in a row at Wyoming Downs. Capable barn (Wilt Whitehouse) has given him a month to rest and drops him down to a new low. He looks to only have one serious challenger.

2nd pick: #5 (Borealis Breeze) (5-2) - Stalker is dropping in class, moving from grass to dirt, and is shortening up in distance. All of his success to date has been on either turf or 'poly,' but he continues to work fast on the local dirt. In the barn of the leading trainer here (Bob Diodoro) and a win candidate.

3rd pick: #2 (Easy Hit) (6-1) - He's racing himself into shape after coming back from a 10 month layoff in late Nov. His last pair have shown some improvement and he can grab a share at a square price.

4th pick: #9 (Brassy Pete) (8-1) - He regressed a bit last out after racing evenly in his previous pair. Eight-year-old moves off the inside and that may allow him to get a small slice of this at long odds.
