2nd pick: #5 (Ifhecouldhewood) (4-1) - He's nearing his seventh birthday and has only made four starts, so there obviously are some serious issues. However, he raced evenly here at this level Nov 8 and did so following a troubled beginning. Calif. bred is a threat in this weak group.
3rd pick: #7 (Pure Collection) (7-2) - The field's only debuting maiden, he's working both steadily and above average for a capable barn (Curt Ferguson). Trainer is 5-for-17 (29%) at the meet and has his favorite rider J.M. Bourdieu signed on.
4th pick: #6 (Papa's Lookn Fine) (6-1) - Blinkers go on 3-year-old making only his second start. He ran evenly here when debuting March 22 and he worked a solid four furlongs from the gate on Nov 12.
