2nd pick: #5 (Shiny Sky) (5-2) - Filly has improved noticeably since switching to the high-percentage barn of Angel Silva on Jan. 11 and has finished second in three straight. Latest saw her check in just over a length better than "Shiny" so she'll also be making the change back to the main track. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Yea I'm a Redhead) (8-1) - Filly exits the same Jan. 11 turf race as both "Lake" and "Shiny" and finished an even fourth wile within range of that pair. Encouraging effort came second back off a 4 1/2 month layoff and was her first ever on the turf.
5th pick: #4 (Glorioso) - Home-bred is yet another exiting the common Jan. 11 turf contest and she ran a career best "figure" while going evenly to finish fifth. Longshot has a chance at hitting the board with another step forward.
