Lightly-raced 3-year-old is working very fast for this attempt and it's noted that Scott Stevens is aboard for the first time. Three-year-old has a good shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #6 (Y O L O Cat) (6-5) - The morning line and probable heavy favorite, he chased a quick pace before weakening to finish third here at this level March 12. It was his first since breaking his maiden here Jan. 2 and trainer Molly Pearson is adding blinkers for the first time. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Mintenized) (8-1) - Calif. bred looked sharp when easily breaking his maiden here going 6.5 furlongs for a $5,000 price tag March 7. It was his second local attempt after coming from the So. Cal circuit and he should receive a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
