Top pick: #7 (BARTOKS BRAVEHEART) - Consistent veteran come into this off a pair of "toss out" efforts. He had a poor start last out and raced very wide while in his previous race his saddle slipped. Draws a nice post for the distance and this is his favorite track (14-5-2-4). In a good barn (Tracie Aker) and gelding is the top choice.
2nd pick: #4 (Proper Vick) - Speed/stalker catches a field without a lot of other front-runners and he should be able to clear early and take them as far as he can. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Proud Cajun) - He raced wide from a tough outside post last out going a mile and will cut-back in distance for this. Previous effort sprinting was solid and a repeat of that try makes him a threat at a nice price.
