2nd pick: #2 (Taelyn's Prince) (4-1) - Turf specialist enters off a second place finish here in a $35K stakes on a muddy surface Dec. 31. Stalker has finished 2nd in his last pair of local grass races and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Don'tmesswithkitten) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he's switching back to the grass following an even effort here on the dirt Jan. 9. Turf is his game and he has a fine record on this course 9-2-5-1. An obvious strong win threat at a short price.
4th pick: #4 (Marv) (15-1) - He has no early speed and will be racing on the grass for the first time. Calif. bred may grab a minor award at a big price if one of the top three picks is sub par.
