Top pick: #2 (TOP PLAYMATE) - Speedy gelding looked sharp here two weeks ago winning a turf sprint and that was his first back off a 2 1/2 month layoff. Barn stretches him out in distance today, but keeps him at the same price. The horse to catch and beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Rising Czar) - Was closing a bit last out, but was still almost 4 lengths behind the top pick at the finish. In a good barn and gelding raced evenly at Golden Gate in a two turn contest in late Sept. Stretch threat.
3rd pick: #4 (Tribal One) - Finished an even fourth last out in the same race as the top pair, and that was his first back off almost a six month layoff. He's beaten better in the past on this course, but will need to improve today in his second back.
